GROUP ACTIVITIES
Valley Oaks Golf Course is conveniently located in the City of Visalia's Plaza Park. With three classic 9 hole layouts that can be played in different 18 hole rotations, Valley Oaks Golf Course provides great golf at a great price. Set amongst age-old native oak, eucalyptus, and tall pine trees, the three nines meander through a gorgeous setting and provide a great test of golf for players of all abilities.
There are tour options for everyone to enjoy. Whether you want to take a private tour of Sequoia National Park, visit a orchard and pick your own fresh fruits, visit a dairy farm, go horseback riding or even tour Visalia's downtown murals or historic buildings.
Attending a Visalia Rawhide game is the most affordable group entertainment option in Tulare and Kings Counties. The Rawhide have embarked on a new era in Visalia Baseball, with more renovations to Valley Strong ballpark and a renewed affiliation with the Major League club. The Rawhide are proud to have been affiliated with the Arizona Diamondbacks since 2007.

You’ll find blocks of restored historic structures and a unique mix of old and new establishments that add to its character. Downtown is a quintessential hub, walkable and located just one block from our convention center.
Sequoia National Park is adjacent to Kings Canyon National Park in California's southern Sierra Nevada mountains. It's known for its huge sequoia trees, notably the General Sherman Tree dominating the Giant Forest. The underground Crystal Cave features streams and striking rock formations. Moro Rock is a granite dome offering sweeping park views. Nearby is the Tunnel Tree, a toppled tree cut to accommodate the road.

Visalia is conveniently located in the middle of California. It can be reached within a three hour drive from Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Francisco. For those traveling by air, Fresno Yosemite International Airport is less than a 45-minute drive to downtown Visalia.

Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) offers commercial airport servicing the San Joaquin Valley and three national parks. It offers scheduled passenger flights receives flights from around the country and International service to Mexico.
Amtrak® train station is located in Hanford and services the larger city of Visalia (22 miles from Hanford) with 14 stops daily. Enjoy meals in the café car, views from the Sightseer Lounge and relax in spacious seats.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
To Fresno Yosemite International Airport
V-LINE: The perfect choice for airport travelers, V-LINE provides affordable, convenient, and easy-to-use shuttle service between Visalia and Fresno six times per day, seven days per week, with trips leaving Visalia as early as 4 a.m. General public single ride ticket is only $10 and $9 for students / seniors / disabled / veterans.
To Sequoia National Park
Sequoia Shuttle: Visiting the Sequoias just got easier. For only $20 (prices are subject to change) you get round-trip transportation to and from Sequoia National Park from Visalia. Plus, unlimited shuttle service inside the park.
To Amtrak Station - Hanford
KART Route 15: Bus Service is available from the Hanford Amtrak Station to Visalia. Current cost for a single trip is $1.75 per person, children 6 and under are free.
