SEQUOIA SHUTTLE
Ride the Sequoia Shuttle and maximize your visit to Sequoia National Park. There are two ways to ride: Make a reservation for the Gateway Shuttle that picks up travelers from most Visalia hotels for the ride into the park. The cost to ride is currently only $15 per person for a round-trip fare. Once inside the park, riders connect with the Internal Shuttle (available to all park visitors) which offers free service from the in-park transportation hub at Giant Forest Museum to destinations throughout the Giant Forest including Moro Rock, Crescent Meadow, General Sherman Tree, and Lodgepole Visitor Center and Campground. Both Shuttles operate Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend.  Sequoia National Park is just 40 minutes from Visalia. It takes about 40 more minutes to get to the Giant Forest Museum and the upper elevations of the park where the giant sequoia trees grow. The Gateway Shuttle makes a short stop at the Foothill Visitors Center before continuing on to the Giant Forest. Don't waste time fighting traffic congestion or looking for parking.
