Foreigner Returns for Concert at Visalia Convention Center

Visit Visalia welcomes concertgoers to explore new entertainment destination

Visalia, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2019) – Visit Visalia is excited to announce rock band Foreigner is coming to play at the Visalia Convention Center this January. The city is ready to welcome travelers bringing in the new year with rockin’ dance moves and ‘80s hits.

The popular ‘80s band known for “Jukebox Hero,” “Cold as Ice” and “I Want to Know What Love Is,” takes the stage Jan. 27, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. The last concert Foreigner played in Visalia sold out at the Visalia Fox Theatre in 2017, and this concert is expected to bring in similar crowds at the Visalia Convention Center.

“We’re excited Foreigner is returning to Visalia,” said Nellie Freeborn, executive director of Visit Visalia. “What better way to kick off 2020 than with one of the best-selling artists of all time? We invite guests to join us for a night of nostalgia and magic.”

Visit Visalia is partnering with local hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues to provide free itineraries and visitor information. Visitors can find maps and guides in all hotels, and they are encouraged to stop by the Visit Visalia office, at 112 E. Main Street, for itineraries and additional information.

Tickets are on sale now. Proceeds from the concert benefit the Kaweah Delta Foundation’s Street Medicine Program that provides medical care for homeless, undocumented and uninsured residents.
