NATIONAL PARKS AND NATIONAL FOREST VISITOR ACCESS
Sequoia National Park & Kings Canyon National Park has opened road access for visitor access following winter storm damage. The Generals Highway, which winds through the parks is currently open for summer travelers. Check the park website for the most current conditions.
Kings Canyon National Park is open for visitors to Grant Grove to see Giant Sequoia Trees including the General Grant Tree, Grant Grove visitors center, trails, the market and other upper elevation areas. Access to Hume Lake is also open.
Sequoia National Park allows access to the Giant Forest from the Highway 198 entrance with access to the Giant Forest, including the General Sherman Tree, Moro Rock, Crescent Meadow and all of the sites in the Giant Forest.
