Stargazing at Lake Kaweah

Experience the breathtaking beauty of California’s night skies on the edge of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Join us for Stargazing at Lake Kaweah, an unforgettable naked-eye astronomy program designed to ignite your curiosity and deepen your connection to the universe. Under a canopy of countless stars, our expert guides will lead you on a celestial journey, weaving together ancient stories, modern science, and the wonders of the cosmos. Discover constellations, spot distant planets, and uncover the secrets of the night sky!

Whether you’re a seasoned stargazer or a curious beginner, this educational adventure offers a magical evening of learning and awe. Bring a blanket or a chair to get cozy for this unforgettably beautiful experience.

We will meet for our Stargazing Adventure at the Kaweah Heritage Visitor Center, 35001-35211 Sierra Dr., Lemon Cove CA 93244. If you arrive early, feel free to drive to the upper parking lot. If you arrive on time, please park in the lower lot and walk up the short hill so that you don’t bright-light everyone with your headlights. If you are unable to walk a hundred yards up an incline, please arrive early so that you don’t have to.
